Our Story

It all began in 2002 at the University of Manitoba where we became friends during our Physiotherapy training. After graduation, we were fortunate to have the opportunity to work together at two different private Physiotherapy clinics. Over the years, we had numerous discussions about how we would operate our own clinic “someday.” After several years of careful planning, we opened the doors of our dream hand to shoulder Physiotherapy clinic in November 2015. Since then, we have built a team of five Physiotherapists with nearly 90 years of combined clinical experience. We have built our careers by providing excellent, up-to-date care and know that you’ll find our passion for the profession to be obvious once you walk through the door. We recently celebrated the 8th anniversary of our clinic and we look forward to offering you the highest professional care for many more years.

It is the mission of EastCity Physiotherapy to be leaders in the provision of high quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services for individuals of all ages. We are a client-centred small business devoted to the treatment of hand & upper extremity orthopedic conditions. It is our aim to provide condition appropriate physiotherapy assessment and treatment interventions to maximize independent function and improved quality of life. We focus on one-on-one care within a compassionate, friendly, and positive environment.
